These terms apply when you use the Bitewise app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Bitewise is free. It helps you log food, estimate calories and nutrients from photos, track water and workouts, and plan training. AI scans are limited per day so the service stays available to everyone. We may change, pause or end features at any time.
Calorie, nutrient, plan and exercise information in Bitewise are estimates for general wellness only. AI estimates can be wrong, so check portions and labels. Bitewise is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Consult a qualified doctor or dietitian before changing your diet or starting an exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, unwell, under 18 or have a history of eating disorders. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
Don't misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around limits; no uploading content that is illegal or that you have no right to share; and no automated access.
You own the photos and logs you add. You let us store and process them only to provide the service to you, including sending them to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy when you have AI features turned on.
These terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates in the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use Bitewise means you accept the updated terms.
